Little Thunder Campground is a nice state park with some campsites offering full hookups and others with electric. The bathrooms and coin-operated showers are located near the entrance of the campground, so it may be a hike depending on your site. Complaints in some reviews include the puncture vines in all the grassy areas, the lake appearing to be extremely low, and the lack of a beach paradise. However, most campers report that the campsites drained well, the bathrooms were cleaned frequently enough, and the spacing between sites was decent. Verizon service is available and strong. Little Thunder is a good campground with some minor flaws that campers can work around.
