This campground is the perfect spot for a quiet, peaceful stay. It is located right off the highway, but far enough away that you dont hear any traffic. The sites are all full hook ups, with plenty of shade from the tall sycamore trees. The campground is also right next to a very busy railroad, but it is not very loud at all. There is no pool or kiddy playground, but the store and cafe are within walking distance. Verizon is extremely strong at 4 bars on LTE and the campground is close to Lake McConoughy. The trading post serves food from 6 AM until 2 PM and it has limited supplies. This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful and quiet stay.
