Clean bathrooms, but no showers. Close to a few restaurants and stores. Great place to camp if you dont mind the train noise. This campground is a great spot for family camping trips. It is located on the north side of town, close to restaurants and stores. The campground is well maintained and clean, with electric only sites that are spacious and level for bike riding. There are trails to explore along the river, and a beach area for swimming. Unfortunately, the campground is located right next to very active train tracks, so you can expect to hear trains and their loud horns frequently day and night. All Nebraska parks charge a fee of $8 per vehicle per night, plus the nightly rate of $46. There is also an obstacle course available for an additional fee of $18 per person for 1 1/2 hours. The restrooms are clean, but there are no showers. Be sure to check the water temperature before sending your kids in for a shower, as it can be dangerously hot. The campground is a great deal, but the noise from the trains may be a deterrent for some.

From The Campground
Louisville State Recreation Area offers a variety of camping options, including seven fully equipped Tentrr campsites. Each Tentrr site includes a spacious canvas safari tent, a comfortable bed, Adirondack chairs for stargazing, and a fire pit. The park also offers educational programs for guests to learn about natural and cultural resources, as well as opportunities for fishing and kayaking/canoeing on Nebraska's gentle rivers.
