GenieSummary

Indian Cave State Park is a great destination for campers looking for a historical getaway. The park is full of trails to explore, with placards along the way to learn about the areas history. There are also plenty of camping sites for all types of campers, including those with horses. Visitors can also explore the cave, which is full of ancient petroglyphs, although it has been vandalized over the years. During the fall, the park hosts a Haunted Hollow with a haunted hayrack ride, pumpkin rolling, trick or treating, and campers decorated for Halloween. Theres also an Expo in the spring with a Morel Mushroom hunting contest. The park offers open concept camping with decent amenities, and visitors should be sure to grab a map on the way in to see which camping spots are open. Fires are allowed only in the ring, and visitors should bring their own wood if they dont want to search for fuel. Be aware that the State of Nebraska requires a $20 per year camping sticker to stay at their parks.
