GenieSummary
This RV campground is an okay choice when no other more scenic and quiet options are available. It has access to the Cowboy Trail which is great for walks, runs, and biking and it is near the highway coming into Norfolk. The roads and sites are concrete, all back-in but at such an angle that its even easy for those of us who dont back up well. Electric only sites are available, but no water or sewer hook-ups. The park is a large and beautiful city park, and is known to attract some strange people, as well as being a known drug deal hotspot. It is a good place for a short stay, is quiet, and there are many sites available midweek. It is also next to a river and entry point to a hiking trail, and part of a really nice city park with a pond. The campground is badly maintained and run down, but is the only option in that area other than a state park.
