Pressey Wildlife Management Area is a public land managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. It is located 5 miles north of the town of Oconto, Nebraska. The shooting range at Pressey Wildlife Management Area is temporarily closed during the opening weekend of pheasant season, Oct. 25-26. The Nebraska Youth Smallbore Silhouette Invitational is held annually at Pressey Wildlife Management Area. This free competition, previously known as the Nebraska High School Smallbore Silhouette Championships, is open to all youth age 11 or older who have successfully completed Hunter Education and who have not yet graduated from high school.
