Cunningham Lake is a clean and quiet campground located on the far north side of Omaha. It offers a variety of activities such as biking, walking, fishing, boating, and horseback riding on the lake. The campground is laid out well for all size trailers, motorhomes, and fifth wheel rigs. It is big rig friendly with large sites with trees, grass and concrete pads, and electricity only. There is a marina filled with boats, and the lake was recently restocked with several different kinds of fish. There is a picnic table and fire ring at each campsite, and a playground for children. The campground is conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants. However, the campground does not accept credit cards and there are no water hook-ups on all sites. The bathrooms are clean, but the garbage bins can get full. There is also a potential for sketchy people late in the evening. The campground honors the Golden Age/Senior Pass discount, making it a great value for seniors.
