What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a great spot for a peaceful getaway. Located in a state park near a modest lake, there is plenty of shade and space between sites. There are a couple of spots for large RVs, each with a picnic table, shade ramada, fire ring, and BBQ. The central restroom was spotless and there are even horse-trailer-specific sites with horse paddocks behind the RV pads. The campground is managed by Game & Parks and is well maintained despite the heavy usage it receives. Electric is available in most spots and water spigots in selected areas. There is a dump station some distance from the camping area. Unfortunately, the lake is currently on a Blue/Green Algae warning and is not usable. The camping fee is $14 per night, plus a daily state park pass. Despite this, it is still a great place to stay and enjoy some peace and quiet.
