Schuyler Campground is a small and pretty campground located at the edge of the city of Schuyler, population around 6,000. It is a great place for a quiet and safe getaway, with friendly people and lots of locals running/walking the trails. There are several options for camping, including primitive for $10, power for $15, and full hookups for $20. Pay showers and flush toilets are also available. The campground is close to the lake, and there is a nice paved walking trail that goes around the pond and is .625 miles. There is also a wildlife area south of town right on the river that is great for a quiet hike. There is a park across the street and a convenience store/gas station right next to the grounds. The campground is first come first serve, and the sites are not marked too clearly. However, they have decent prices and now a days where can you find a full hookup site for $20? There is also a full service grocery store, gas station, and vet clinic behind the grocery store. There is a 14 day maximum stay without approval and a campground host, although the space was not occupied during our stay. The city manager confirmed there were open hookups before we arrived, and the woman at the Chamber of Commerce offered to drive us to Enterprise for a rental car. Schuyler also has some of the best Mexican food in the state. All in all, it is a nice campground and a great place to stay.

South Park Campground is a first-come, first-serve campground located in Schuyler, Nebraska. The campground offers full hookups for water and sewer, 30 or 50 amp electrical sites, and tent camping. There is a shower house and bathrooms available, as well as a dump station. The campground is open from April 1st to November 1st. Fees range from $10.00 for non-electric tent camping to $20.00 for full hookup sites. Showers are available for $.50 for 3 minutes and $.25 for two additional minutes.
