What others are saying
Buckley Park Campground in Stromsburg, NE is a peaceful and cozy spot that is perfect for a night or two of camping. With limited spots available, it is recommended that one should arrive early to snag a suitable spot. The park has playgrounds, a pavilion, and bathrooms within easy reach. There are 6 to 7 sites that are ideal for tent camping, while the rest are gravel with plenty of shade around. The parks restrooms may be described as typical but, in general, they are maintained. Visitors may opt to use the showers at the nearby pool area. While the campground is not suited for a long-term visit, it is a great stopover option for those intending to stay two nights or less. There are plenty of trash cans around, and the bathrooms are clean. The campground is free, but it has a donation box. Customers are encouraged to donate as it is a unique and well-maintained stopping spot. It is best to note that the location adheres to first-come, first served standards.
