What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a great spot for car camping and fishing. It is fairly new, having been built a few years ago, and is part of the local NRD. It requires a daily pass or an annual pass for entry. It has tent and RV camping, with large, clean sites, picnic tables, and fire rings. Unfortunately, there is very little shade available as it is a man-made area, so bring the sunscreen. The lake is regularly stocked and there are jettys for fishing. There is a gravel trail that goes all the way around the lake, providing a three mile loop. There are nice clean vault toilets available all around the lake. The water fill is in an awkward spot in a parking lot of the campground and the dump station is located outside the campground. There is also a massive piece of playground equipment and six cabins. The customer service is top notch and the campground is located within ~1 mile of Wahoo, NE where all services are available.
