This RV park is a centrally located campground near Carson City, Nevada. It is conveniently located next to Costco and is a short drive from Lake Tahoe and Virginia City. The park offers full hook-up pull-through sites with 50 amp service, as well as a nice break area with WiFi in the office. The staff is friendly and helpful, and will even escort guests to their site and cut off branches that might rub against slides. There are two large dog walk areas, but they are filled with dirt, rocks and sagebrush. The restrooms are clean, but the sites are small and the windows have been taken out. The electricity is poor, and the noise from Highway 395 is very noticeable. The park is well-maintained, and the employees are often seen picking up debris, emptying garbage cans and plucking weeds. The only downside is that the amenities do not match the price of the facility.

The resort is conveniently located near Lake Tahoe and Historic Virginia City, both of which are just 30 minutes away. The resort features a casino next door with daily specials. Please note that Comstock Country does not accept RV's older than 13 years old.
