They were very nice and refunded my money. Echo Bay Campground is situated in the Lake Mead National Recreational Area. It is a plane jane campground with no amenities, but the surrounding area of Lake Mead makes up for it. The campground is clean and the roads into the area are in very good shape. The campground is quiet and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Mead. The utilities all work well and the campground is in fairly good shape. The campground offers full hook-ups with 50 amp and nice sewer hook-ups with a cool plastic drain thing. The campground has a bathroom/shower/laundry building, but the showers are old locker room style with no privacy and only one of five showers working. The laundry facilities cost $5.00 per load. Cell reception is bad and wifi is throttled at 0.7 mbps. There is also a store with large parking area and access to the gas pumps, but no diesel. The campground is a good place to stay for a night or two, but it needs some upkeep. It is a great place for peace and quiet and solitude at a reasonable price.
From The Campground
Echo Bay RV Village is a secluded park located on the north end of Lake Mead, offering a variety of outdoor activities. Visitors have an array of hiking and sightseeing opportunities, including the nearby Valley of Fire State Park and the ruins of the historic town of St. Thomas. The large RV sites provide room for your boat, and the free on-site launch ramp are ideal for boaters. Whether you stay a night or a month, Echo Bay RV Village provides excellent amenities to make your vacation memorable.
