From The Campground
Timber Creek Campground is located in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and offers 11 campsites, including five group sites and six RV sites. The campground is open from the end of May to September, weather and conditions permitting. The sites are equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals. Recreation activities include river/stream fishing, backpack/day hiking, horseback riding, off-highway vehicle riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Dogs must be on a leash in the campground and stock is only allowed in the corral area. Potable water is available and there are two vault restrooms that are open year-round but only maintained during the prime season.
