Desert Sands RV Park in Henderson, NV is a clean and peaceful park with friendly staff. The park features a pool, clubhouse, and two small dog areas. The park is primarily meant for long-term residents, and they tend to get the better sites, while short-stay guests get the remaining sites. The location is excellent, and the park offers full hookups with 50A/30A/20A hookups. The park is an older one, with narrow roads, but the current owners have done their best to clean it up, and it shows. While the spaces can be tight, they are level gravel sites, with a concrete pad by the door area. The hookups are convenient, and short-term stays usually use the available pull-through sites. The park is cheaper than the KOA up the road, making it an affordable option for RV campers. One downside is that the cleanliness can be improved, and the WiFi connection is poor. There is some noise outside the park from airplanes landing at the nearby airport and road noise. Despite this, it offers easy access to the freeway and is far enough away from the city for noise to not be an issue. Customers can use the nice, albeit shallow, pool, laundry, restrooms/showers, and clubhouse at the front of the park, and restrooms/showers are available inside the park. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, creating a safe environment for everyone.
