What others are saying about this campground
Red Rock Campground, located in the western suburbs of Las Vegas, is a great spot for an RV vacation with plenty of services nearby. The sites are well-spaced, with gravel pads at varying levels of evenness. Tent sites are also available. The campground features vault toilets that are distributed throughout the area and maintained clean. Potable water is offered for filling jugs but cannot be used for tank filling. Some sites come with covered picnic facilities, perfect for taking shelter on sunny days. Despite being in a windy area, Red Rock offers an ideal boondocking experience. Although cell service is limited, you can get a signal at the top of the ridge when entering the campground. Quiet hours start at 8 pm, so generators are only allowed up to that point. However, the camp host is friendly and helpful. Red Rock State Park is one of the attractions in the area, located eight minutes away from the campground. You need to make reservations to go on scenic drives through Red Rock, but its worth it, as it is a beautiful place to spend the day. The park is also pet-friendly.
