This campground is located in Las Vegas, close to the Strip and other attractions. It is part of the Thousand Trails membership, so no cost for the stay. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, but the park is run down and dirty, with trash blowing in the wind on the walls around the premises. There are tight sights, but the campground is generally quiet and safe. The park has been remodeled, with a nice pool and restrooms, but they need to be cleaned occasionally. There are police helicopters, airport flight paths and proximity to street life, so it is not the best area of town. Electrical failures are common, and the restrooms, showers, and laundry are dirty. Interior roads are tight with cars and trucks parked in the street due to limited site spacing. There is a wall around the entire park with barbed wire for security, and a dog park with grass. The park offers daily newspapers, coffee in the lounge, big screen TV, book and movie exchange, etc. There is a grocery store nearby, and Verizon cell signal is good. The pool and hot tub are closed for maintenance, and the WiFi is mostly unusable.
