This campground is located in the Lake Mead area and is accessible with a National Park Pass or a day use fee. It is suitable for both tent and RV campers, with plenty of space to choose from. The beach is a mix of sand and shells from when the lake was higher and there are plenty of hiking areas in the area. The road is washboard but can be navigated with a small car and there is no power, so batteries are necessary for lanterns and flashlights. The lake is great for swimming and there are lots of other activities such as fishing, kayaking, and ATV riding. There is a vault toilet and trash cans at the entrance, and a bathroom further down the road. The area is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of wildlife to observe. Verizon MiFi provides a strong connection, however camping is no longer allowed and there is a small sign at the entrance to remind visitors. Be aware of the soft sand when going off the dirt roadway.
