The campground is a bit rustic, with laundry facilities ($5.00 load) old locker room style showers with no privacy, only one of five showers work and tiles falling off the walls and a mildew smell. Cell reception is bad and wifi throttled at 0.7 mbps. Echo Bay Campground is situated in the Lake Mead National Recreational Area, offering stunning views and peaceful, quiet surroundings. It is a plane jane campground with no amenities, but the surrounding area of Lake Mead makes up for it. The campground is in fairly good shape for a night or two stay, although it needs some upkeep. The roads into the area are in very good shape, and utilities all worked well. The campground is clean, but a bit cluttered by some campers who appear to be there long term. There is a store with a large parking area and wide access to the gas pumps (no diesel) located directly across the road. The campground offers sewer hook-ups with a cool plastic drain thing, and the closest real stores are at least a 20 mile drive one-way. People are friendly, and the manager is funny. Wifi and RV washing are not available, and the price is $30.00 - accepts Good Sam.
