Cathedral Gorge State Park is a small campground with just 22 first-come, first-served sites. Some sites may be too small for larger RVs, but there are two dry overflow areas and two ADA sites that can be occupied if all other sites are taken. The campground and overflow areas were full even mid-week. There are two coin-operated showers in the bathhouse near the ADA sites, and the water takes some time to heat up. The shower spray is acceptable, but the nozzle could use some cleaning. The park also offers a couple of nice trails and limited AT&T coverage. However, there are only a few tall trees, which should not obstruct your view and provide excellent DISH coverage on all three western satellites. The campground offers heated restrooms with free showers.
