This campground is a great option for those looking for a convenient home base while visiting Reno. It is very quiet and offers basic amenities, such as clean bathrooms and showers with hot water, but no grass or play area for children. The roads are in poor condition, so visitors should be aware of pot holes and drive slowly. The office staff are friendly and helpful, and the manager is very accommodating. Sites are mostly gravel and some are asphalt, and the park offers wide sites with plenty of room for a tow car. The park is clean and neat, with some sites recently renovated with concrete pads and shade trees. WiFi and cable may not be available at all sites, but Verizon hotspots and Directv satellite did work. Prices are reasonable and there is a $50 deposit for the TV hookup box. Long term stays are welcome, and the no refund policy should be noted. Dogs are allowed, but they are not allowed to pee on the grass. The view of Reno lights from some sites is quite pretty.
