This campground is a great place for RVers traveling US-93 through eastern Nevada. Located behind a Shell Station and convenience store, it offers full 30-amp hookups and decent food from the deli. Check-in is easy and friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and the price is right at just $22.00 per night. The campground is rustic and the hot springs across the street are not the cleanest. It is best to call ahead for reservations during peak snowbird traveling season as there are only a few spots available. Traffic noise is minimal after the sun sets, and there is no park WiFi, but good ATT service. The unfriendly lady who runs the place has confirmed that the septic system is non-functional and there is no black water dump in this part of eastern Nevada. It is a convenient place to stop before heading to Las Vegas.

R Place RV Park is located in Lincoln County, NV, less than 2 hours from Las Vegas and Ely, Nevada. It offers 37 RV pull-thru spaces with full hook-ups. The park is an ideal place for historical tours and museums, hands-on recreation with 6 state parks and the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, desert golf to PGA golf, hiking and mountain climbing, bird watching, and off the road discoveries, ancient rock painting, and prehistoric collections. The park is situated in a location that offers visitors a taste of the authentic old west seen in cowboy movies as a child where the bad guys hid out in the caves and canyons and the wild mustangs ran free.
