Weed Heights Campground is a remote resort located in Nevada that is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and tranquil getaway. The resort is primarily for off-roaders, but is also a great base camp for day trips to nearby attractions. The resort offers a small store, bar, rec room, pool and hot tub, and is a membership resort. There is a pistol shooting range, trap circuit, fishing pond, and fast trout river nearby. The campground is equipped with hookups and is dog-friendly. There are also ATV and dirt bike trails in the vast BLM lands nearby. The views are stunning, with desert scrub and snow-capped Pinenuts in the distance. The Walker river flows by the park and is a great spot to relax and enjoy the views. There is a communal fire pit, gazebo, and grassy area perfect for setting up awnings and beach chairs. The pool and clubhouse area is very nice and the laundry is a good price and large. The park is close to Lake Tahoe and the roads are twisty but good. The staff are friendly and the free hot dogs during Monday night football are a nice touch. However, the park can be very dusty and dirty, and the sites can be crowded. The change machine in the laundry room doesnt work and there is not good fishing areas nearby.

The Walker River Resort is a lovely ranch-style resort located in Western Nevada. It offers crystal clear air, old-fashioned countryside quiet, and unsurpassed seclusion and security. The resort is situated at the old town site of Hudson, Nevada, and offers adventure activities such as float trips, exploring nearby ghost towns and old mines, fly fishing, and riding OHVs on hundreds of miles of established trails and dirt roads in Nevada and California. The resort also offers cozy and delightfully furnished cottages and large, shaded pull-through RV sites with full hook-ups and individual picnic tables. Guests can relax at the beautiful pool and hot tub complex, play horseshoes and desert golf, or enjoy the breathtaking cliff-side lounge which hosts Nevada-style gaming entertainment along with a full-service bar.
