What others are saying about this campground
The campground is on the edge of town, away from the hustle and bustle of the Labor Day crowds. The bathhouse is clean, although it has a cell block-like atmosphere with gray concrete walls and black tile in the showers. The deli is usually amazing, but unfortunately it was closed while we were there because the guy broke his foot. The other campers were friendly and had cool cars, as it was the Hot August Nights kick off. There is a doggy doo station with provided bags, and the caretaker will take time to chat with you after locking the gate. You may even be lucky enough to spot some of the wild mustangs that roam the area. Wi-Fi is available for a three-day stay, but it is not always reliable. The campground is in walking distance to the main part of town, but it is hilly terrain. There is a restaurant on site, and the store is well-stocked. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and there are many scheduled events throughout the three seasons to bring in tourists. The sites are small and there is a lot of debris around the park, so it is best suited for smaller trailers and fifth wheels.
