Mountain Shadows RV Park is a great option for a one-night stay. The staff is friendly and efficient, and all hookups work as expected. Although the park is mostly gravel with a bit of green between sites, the mature trees offer plenty of shade. However, the greenery is mostly weeds. Nearby train whistles and horns may be heard throughout the day and night. It is important to note that the office is located inside the main building and may feel a bit awkward -- but the staff is accommodating and hospitable. If you come in with the right expectations, the park is a good choice for a quick stopover. If youre planning to stay for a few days, Welcome RV Park might be a better option. Despite some minor upkeep issues, the park is clean and well-maintained. Also, the park is situated close to a casino with a good Mexican restaurant, and the fast food restaurants and fuel stations are just a mile down the road. Another perk is that the facilities have clean showers and the temperatures cooled down at night.
