Calef Lake Campground is the perfect family-friendly getaway located in Alton, New Hampshire. Located right beside a lake, the campground offers great swimming and canoeing opportunities, as well as a playground and family activities. There are a variety of sites available, including wooded sites with lots of privacy, and all sites have access to 50 amp and 30 amp power. The beach is sandy and the small stream running by the sites is a great source of entertainment. The campground also offers dumpers and wild flowers in a vase on the fire pit. The water pressure is good and the voltage is iffy when the campground is full. This is the perfect spot for a quick escape from southern NH without going too far north!
