What others are saying about this campground

This campground is located near two beautiful beaches on Swains Lake and offers peddle boats, canoes, and kayaks for rent. It has clean restrooms and offers electricity, wifi (with no signal), and cable (only 5 channels, mostly foreign) on the sites. The staff in the office is friendly, but the owner is rude when questioned. The waterfront sites have beautiful views of the lake, but the campground is a bit run down and can be noisy due to dogs barking non stop near the beach and radios blasting. There is also an unpleasant odor in the area. The facility normally requests a 3 day stay, as they say to keep out partiers and riff raff. Daily trash pick up would be a huge benefit.
