This campground is a great home base for exploring the White Mountains and Lakes Region. It is a large campground with lots of open space, perfect for the kids to play ball, fly kites, or frisbee. There is a river that runs along the campground, and fishing, kayaks, and canoes are available for entertainment. The campground is located in a great spot and is a great jumping off point for fall foliage drives and visits to national parks. However, the interior roads are dirt and have significant pot holes, and the bathrooms are in need of updating. The sewer outlet is slightly elevated and makes for more work during discharge. Despite the need for some updating, the campground is quite pretty and was a great place for a weekend getaway.
