Overall, this campground is a great spot for families, but it is in need of some updates and repairs.

Tamworth Camping Area offers rental trailers with air conditioning, coffee makers, awnings, picnic tables, fireplaces, and charcoal BBQs. The campground has sites for tent and/or trailer camping for organized groups of adults or supervised groups of children or youth under 18. The on-site amenities include a country store, nine-hole mini-golf, and fishing & swimming on the Swift River. Tamworth Camping Area is pet-friendly and requires a $100 security deposit for all trailer rentals. Full payment of the rental fee is required before arrival. All prices listed include the site price and all utilities. Rental unit tax is added upon reservation. The $100 security deposit may be paid by separate check or credit card upon arrival. This deposit will be returned when you leave, provided there has been no misuse or damage to the trailer or equipment.
