It is a quiet spot, with large, level campsites and basic amenities such as clean toilets and a hand pump for water. The campground is close to trails and the Swift River, providing a great place to relax after a day in the woods. The Boulder Loop Trail is accessible from the campground, and the nearby Lower Falls and Rocky Gorge are great spots for exploring. Cell service is absent for most of the Kanc, but can be found near the top of Bear Notch Road when open. The Albany Covered Bridge has a height restriction of 7.9 for vehicles, but the campground can be accessed from the back way via Passaconaway Road for those who dont meet the requirement. It is a great spot for a peaceful camping trip, with plenty of activities nearby.
