Located in Conway, NH, Jigger Johnson Campground is set in a nice location near town and the White Mountains. The campground managers are known to be helpful. During the last week of September, the campers had no trouble finding a spot to park. The Swift River nearby provides a peaceful environment for campers and their pets. While there are pay showers, some guests have reported issues with generator restrictions and the recognition of older campground passes. The campground is named after Jigger Johnson, a legendary north country woods boss during the region's logging era. The Swift River flows behind the campground and a short trail connects to the Russell-Colbath Historic Site.
