What others are saying about this campground
Passaconaway Campground is the perfect spot for those looking for a secluded, rustic camping experience. The campground is nestled among tall white pines and other mixed hardwoods, and borders the Kancamangus Highway on one side and the tranquil Swift River on the other. There are 30 sites available on a first come, first serve basis, with plenty of room between sites for privacy. There are pumps that provide clean, fresh, cold water interspersed through the campground and a nice picnic shelter. There is a hiking trail to Church Pond that leaves from the campground, and the campground is conveniently located near many great waterfalls, hiking trail heads, and other natural wonders. The biggest drawback to this campground would be road noise, but there are sites available that dont border the Kancamangus. Pets are allowed on leashes, and there is no shower available. Coin operated showers are available 1 mile down the road at Jigger Johnson Campground. Be sure to get there early in the day because it fills up quickly.
