Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort in Freedom, NH is a large and varied campground close to a lake. The campground has some nice large, clean sites and plenty to do such as playgrounds, two pools, multiple beaches, tennis, pickleball courts, and a reasonable gym. The resort has a newly renovated camp store, an adjacent park with great lake access, and kayak and canoe rental. While some sites may be largely occupied by seasonal campers, there are still a small number of sites available for short-term stays. The staff is friendly and professional, and check-in is efficient. The bathrooms throughout the campground are clean, and the pools are large, heated, and well-maintained. Despite some minor issues such as poor Wi-Fi and cell phone reception, guests would stay at Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort again due to its excellent services, staffing interactions, and cleanliness.
