Timberland Campground in Gorham, NH is a quiet and spacious campground located near Mt. Washington. The couple who run the campground are friendly and accommodating to their guests. The site itself is adequate with dirt/gravel interior roads that are in need of maintenance. The electrical system is outdated and may result in low voltage power and issues with surge protectors. Amenities such as cable TV, showers, and wifi are available for an additional fee, and the 50 amp hook-up is too low to the ground. Despite these shortcomings, the park is kept well-maintained and has a nice walk down to the river. Visitors have reported enjoying the spacious and level sites within the forest with nice trails next to the river. However, some report being bothered by the traffic noise from a nearby road. Timberland Campground is best suited for shorter stays and is still a good location to explore the White Mountains.
