This campground is a great option for those with big rigs, offering pull through sites near the office and other sites located in the treed section. Full hookups and utilities are conveniently located and the campground is close to town and beaches. The ADA requires the campground to modify their no pets policy to allow the use of service animals. Check in can take a while and the gravel at the sites is tiny and mixed with dirt, making it difficult to track into the coach. It is not allowed to wash the coach and there is no cable, Wi-Fi, or clear channel TV. The owner is very nice and the kids can enjoy the pool after a long drive. Cars must be driven at walking speed for safety.

Tidewater Campground is the closest campground to Hampton Beach, offering a range of camping options from tent sites to RV sites to seasonal camping. The campground features full hookups, modern restroom facilities, Wi-Fi, groceries, ice cream, picnic tables, fireplaces, a large fenced children's playground, horseshoe pits, a swimming pool, wood available, and a large playing field. The campground is open from mid-May through mid-October, and reservations are nearly essential for July and August, with a three-night minimum stay required for advance reservations. Tidewater Campground is the perfect family camping vacation destination.
