GenieSummary

This campground is located in the town of Hinsdale and is accessible by a steep hill and a mobile home park. It is the most expensive and least attractive campground encountered on a week long swing through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. During the week it is generally OK, but on Fridays the weekend seasonals arrive with their ATVs and partying late into the night. The campground offers a pool and other facilities, but these can get quite dirty due to the presence of children and ATVs. The recreation hall is too fancy for a campground and is locked most of the time, cutting off access to the pool table and ping pong. Seasonal campers are hit with a huge real estate tax from the town of Hinsdale, and many are leaving due to the excessive tax. The campground does accept Passport America on some days, and staff had planned celebratory activities for the 4th of July. There is only one washer and dryer, located in a small shed with no place to sit. Check-in can be a lengthy process, as the manager does not guarantee sites.

From The Campground

Enjoy a relaxing outdoor vacation at Hinsdale RV Resort and Campground in southwestern New Hampshire. On 200 acres above the Connecticut River, we are just four miles from Pisgah State Park. Select from three types of sites, all with 20/30/50 amp service, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. Our amenities include two pools, a modern bathhouse, a multi-use pavilion and much more! Nearby activities await your participation, especially if you like outdoor rejuvenation, like boating, fishing, golf cycling, hiking, and biking. Hinsdale area attractions such as sumptuous restaurants, niche shopping, and lively entertainment are all close to the resort.
