GenieSummary

Dolly Copp Campground is a well-maintained campground in Jackson, NH with lots of space to move about. It has large sites with picnic tables, and the campground office accepts only cash payments. The cost for camping is $25 per night in October. For the showers, campers need to pay $2.50 for five minutes, but they need to exchange money at the front office, with no minimum requirement communicated. The campground has some excellent tent sites, some with electric and water hookups, and some with boondocking feature. Dolly Copp is located in the White Mountains National Forest, a beautiful and scenic area with plenty to explore. The campground is managed by an outside agency and offers a wide variety of sites to meet every need. However, there is no cell service, and no Over-The-Air (OTA) TV service while in the campground. Nevertheless, it is great to relax and unwind in this quiet and dog-friendly environment.

From The Campground

Dolly Copp Campground is located along the Peabody River and offers ample opportunity for small family picnics or large group gatherings. The large picnic pavilion, originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936, was rebuilt in 1996 using many of the original timbers, along with trees planted by the same 1936 CCC crew. The campground has accessible sites and offers flush toilets and faucet water. Standard sites are $27 per night and hook up sites are an extra $13.00 with no discount applied to hookup fee. The camping fee includes a combination of any two vehicles per campsite at no additional fee. Pending sufficient space, an additional vehicle may be allowed by paying $5 extra vehicle fee, per night.
