Mountain Lake Campground is a family-friendly destination located in northern New Hampshire. Surrounded by the White Mountains, this campground offers a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy, including a heated pool with two water slides, a large pond with paddle boats, fishing, and permission to let dogs swim, a great dog park, and a brand new, large childrens play area. The campground is situated on a mountain next to a lake, providing a peaceful and beautiful view of the lake. Although the roads to the campground are well-maintained, the internal roads are narrow and curvy, making them bumpy and dusty. Each campsite is secluded by trees and shrubs, providing privacy for campers. The campground is also home to a camp store, fresh muffins and coffee daily, and quiet hours are enforced. The owners and their three children go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly and to take care of camper needs. Although the cost is higher than other campgrounds, the amenities make it worth the extra cost. Clean gravel should be added to all interior roads and individual campsites to alleviate the dusty conditions, and the owners should emphasize to guests upon arrival that a 5 MPH speed limit is required.
