Mountain Lake was a clean and well-maintained campground with a great location. It offered plenty of amenities for families, including a pool with water slides, a beach, a childrens play area, a dog park, fishing, and paddle boats. The campsites were in wooded areas with good separation between them, but roads were curvy, bumpy and dusty. The owners and their children were attentive and friendly, but the cost of the experience was too high for some. The campground was full of families having a great time on a hot summer weekend, and the internal roads were tight when the campground was busy. The campground offers a variety of activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boats, and playgrounds, as well as mail forwarding services. The owners were actively managing the campground and making improvements. The campground is close to Santas Village and other White Mtn attractions. However, some people experienced noise issues, and the owners were strict with their quiet hours.
