We found this campground to be a great spot to stay while visiting the White Mountains. The sites were clean and well maintained. We have a 37 foot motorhome and the site was a bit tight but doable. It was very quiet and peaceful and there was a cute playground for the kids. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The river running through the campground was beautiful and provided a great place for the kids to play. This RV campground is well maintained, clean, and quiet. It has a rustic feel, with a stream running across it and a New England ambiance. It is suitable for big rigs, and sites have water, electric, and sewage hookups. Rules are strictly and fairly enforced. The owners are friendly and engaging and the game room and playground are well maintained. Tent campers frequent the area near the showers and bathrooms. The campground was full when a reviewer stayed here, and they were lucky to get a site. The small river and waterfalls in the back of the campground provide a great play area for children. Rates for 30-amp sites are $34, plus an extra $3 to run A/C or an electric heater. The bathrooms are dirty and the showerheads have a hard, misting spray. There are nice carved wooden sculptures of moose and bears in the park, and the pond has algae. Pets are not allowed in all attractions in Franconia Notch, and there is a fee of $3 per day to run air conditioning. The WiFi and Verizon Wireless signals are good. Fall colors are outstanding and the scenery and hiking are great. The campground is empty in late September, and it is a great spot for visitors to the White Mountains.
