Clearwater Campground is a beautiful and secluded campground located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. It features wooded sites with full hookups, a sandy beach, and plenty of activities for the family Thursday through Sunday. The campground is heavily wooded, providing lots of shade, and is close to the lake, making it a great launching point for the lakes region. Staff is friendly and helpful, and maintenance staff are quick to fill potholes in the roads. There are some dead or dying pines throughout the campground, but these are at the end of their life and not providing much shade. The only downside is the odor from the main sewer line near some of the sites. There is a small playground, and the campground is close to all activities in the Lakes region. It can be a bit pricey and there are nosey owners who lack appreciation for privacy, but overall it is a great place to stay.
