Crows Nest Campground in Newport, NH has a good mix of woods and meadow to choose from. The campground has two fenced dog areas, which is great for dog lovers. Campers were friendly and the amenities provided were great, especially the full hookups. The sound of the river was a great way to fall asleep and the location of the sites near the river were quiet. However, the outhouse was a bit of a problem as it needs to be repaired. The wooded tent area allowed for privacy, but the sites along the river were a bit crowded. Overall, its a great campground with some areas that could use improvement, but its a nice place to stay.
