This campground is a great place for families to enjoy the outdoors. It offers RV sites, cabins, and plenty of grassy space for camping. There are activities for both kids and adults, and the campground owner is very helpful and accommodating. The campground is located a scenic half hour drive from Mt Washington, and provides full hook-ups, cable, and wi-fi. The roads are paved and the gravel sites are level. Natures beauty abounds in this campground, and the Wi-Fi is fast and the cable has a decent selection of channels. There are a lot of long-term sites, but they are mostly used for weekend vacations. The campground is not prepared for year-round occupancy, but is a great place to spend a few days in the summer.

From The Campground

River Meadow Campground is a newer campground located along the Connecticut River in the small town of North Haverhill, New Hampshire. The campground offers 123 spacious full-hookup RV sites, 4 large cabins, and 3 small cabins. The main building houses the office, convenience store, laundry room, and handicap accessible restrooms with showers. There are two heated pools and a hot tub area, a large and small playground area, a basketball court, horseshoe pit, and corn hole area. The campground also has two ponds with fountains and a large covered pavilion used to host special events. Propane fill station and canoe and kayaks are also available.
