From The Campground
Russell Pond Campground is located in the White Mountain National Forest and offers 86 campsites with both RV and tent sites. The campground overlooks Russell Pond, which is a popular boating and fishing site. The campground features flush toilets, hot showers, and a beautiful amphitheater with free interpretive nature programs on summer Saturday evenings. Some sites can be reserved online through recreation.gov, while others are first-come, first-served. The camping fee includes a combination of any two vehicles per campsite at no additional fee. Day use fees are $5 per vehicle. The campground is open from mid-May to mid-October and is located off Exit 30 of I-93. Accessible sites are available at this campground. Fishing is available at the nearby lake and pond. Season passes are available for $25, which allow access to the day-use area (pond) and do not apply toward camping fees. America the Beautiful, Access, Senior, Volunteer, and Military interagency passes are all also honored for day-use and camping.
