This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Located on the Connecticut River in New Hampshire, with Vermont across the river on the north side, it offers a variety of amenities, including a nice pool and playground, spacious lots with tables and fire rings, and a library. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry room are all clean and well-maintained. Cell service is also solid (ATT and Verizon). The owners, Kim and Doug, are friendly and attentive, and the campers are a mix of seasonal and vacationers, all of whom are very amiable. Theres also a saltwater pool and horseshoe pit, as well as a large playground. Kayaks, canoes, and pontoon boats can be rented at reasonable rates, and theres a majestic eagles nest nearby. The laundry room is homey and clean, and the gathering room is stocked with essentials. The restrooms and showers are spotless, and wood is available for $5 per bundle. The only downside is that theres no view of the river from most sites, and wifi is only available at the office (where cell service is spotty).

The Pastures Campground is a privately owned campground on the Connecticut River in Orford, New Hampshire. This peaceful and scenic river provides our campers with 40 navigable miles of boating, good fishing, and water fun. The campground offers a season of relaxation and outdoor fun, with heated saltwater pool, river access, and area attractions.
