Deer Mountain Campground is a remote and secluded campground located in the Moose Alley area of Pittsburg, New Hampshire. The campground has 30 sites all neatly spaced out, each with a unique view of the surrounding area. There are no showers or flushing toilets, but firewood is available for purchase. The campground has access to hiking trails and fishing, and is located near the four Connecticut Lakes, offering plenty of recreational activities. The area also has the Cohos Trail, stretching down to Massachusetts. There is a small general store nearby called Treats & Treasures where you can find wifi and make a call or check in with folks. The sites are primitive and require a 1/2 mile walk to get to, adding to the privacy. There are no hook ups, no store, and no flushing toilets, but there are plenty of stars to see due to the lack of electricity. Bring bug spray as there are lots of mosquitos and horse flies in the summer.
