This campground is located in a remote area of New Hampshire, near the Canadian border. It is a well-kept state park with low prices, and offers a variety of activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, kayaking, canoeing, ATVing, and more. The main house has a sink with hot running water for washing dishes. There is no cell phone service in the area, making it a peaceful and quiet getaway. The campground has a camp office, basic camp store, coin operated showers and laundry, a big dish cleaning station, and clean bathrooms. There are tent sites, RV sites, and lakefront sites, some of which have power and water hookups. There is a boat ramp for kayaking and canoeing, and a public boat ramp a short walk away. The lake is beautiful and offers many opportunities for paddling, biking, swimming, walking, and hiking. The staff at the ranger station is friendly and helpful, and the showers have incredibly powerful water pressure. This is a great spot for fly fishing and for those who want to appreciate the scenery.

From The Campground

Lake Francis is a 2,000-acre lake near the Connecticut Lakes of the Great North Woods region. Hunters and anglers enjoy this park as a base for their respective activities. A boat launch is located in the park. Canoeists enjoy exploring the upper part of the Connecticut River. This facility also list availabiltiy for the Magalloway Watchman Tower Cabin.
