This campground is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, private spot to camp near Rumney for climbing or biking. The site is an open grassy area with utilities located at the rear and a riverfront area. The only downside is the wood for burning is wet and hard to burn. The pot holes make it easy to maintain the park speed limit and the dump station is a bit awkward but adequate. The office staff is very nice and the manager is willing to help with any issues. There are not many motorhome sites available, but it is a great spot for small rigs and tents.
