This campground is a great place for a family getaway. With its close proximity to the Piper Trail and the White Mountain National Forest, there is plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. The campground offers spacious and seasonal lots, all of which are uphill on tightly winding drives. The owners are accommodating and knowledgeable and will provide an escort to the campsite upon check-in. There is also a rec hall with a TV, arcade, board games, and a ping pong table. For outdoor fun, there is an in-ground pool, a fishing pond with kayaks and paddle boats, a lovely new playground, and lots of outdoor toys such as sports balls, badminton, corn hole, and a disk golf practice basket. There is also a dog park that is almost completed. The only downside is that it is close to Route 16, which can be noisy in some parts of the campground.

From The Campground

Foothills Family Campground is a family owned and operated RV park located on Route 16 in Tamworth, NH. The campground offers a variety of campsites suitable for both tents and RVs. All of the sites are nestled in stunning, wooded areas covered by tall pine trees. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring. Water, 20 & 30 Amp. electric and sewer hookups are available on all RV sites. For tenters, they offer 15 attractive primitive, rustic sites, 6 sites with water and electric, and a limited number of walk-in sites. The campground is located just north of White Lake State Park and offers 22 acres of sprawling woods, a natural brook-fed fishing pond, and spacious campsites. With an abundance of activities and attractions, the White Mountains offers the perfect destination for a family vacation.
