The staff is super friendly and helpful with any questions campers may have. The campground is well laid-out, with spacious, level sites that are dirt/pine needle-covered and surrounded by large trees, offering plenty of shade. Tons of seasonal campsites are available, and there is also tent camping. The amenities are top-notch, with immaculate bathrooms and nice showers that offer plenty of hot water. The laundry area is also clean and well-maintained. The campground handles rain well, and there is plenty of space for outdoor activities.

From The Campground
The Ammonoosuc Campground is a family park located in the heart of the White Mountains of NH. It offers large wooded RV or Tent sites with fireplace and picnic table. The campground has modern, clean restrooms, showers, and laundry. Children can play in the child-safe, all sand playground, and the entire family can enjoy a swim in the large in-ground pool. The campground is surrounded by the foothills of Mt. Hale, the Twin Mountains, and the Sugarloafs, and is within view of majestic Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range. The Ammonoosuc river is within walking distance for fishing, swimming, and rafting. The campground is approved and listed with the New Hampshire Campground Owners Association, Woodall's Trailer Life, and AAA. The campground has direct access to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Pets are welcome.
